Fat Earth, Red Antler's creative performance marketing partner, is focused on growing direct-to-consumer brands. The team primarily works with startups, driving the growth agenda hand-in-hand with founders in a way that works for them. The Fat Earth team is seeking a world-class Sr. Graphic Designer to join its team and write for various brands and verticals while crafting performance-minded designs for Lifecycle programs and Acquisition channels. You’ll work with brands of all sizes and stages, such as startups trying to launch their visual language on a new channel to large corporations with stringent brand guidelines. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of data-driven marketing.
Responsibilities:
Creative Ideation:
- Create visually compelling and on-brand designs for a variety of clients and industries.
- Be excellent in Omni-Channel execution, with an understanding of best practices for Meta, Email, YouTube, Display. (OOH, Amazon, and OTT are a plus.)
- Collaborate with creative strategists to understand client objectives and translate them into impactful design concepts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure cutting-edge designs.
- Work closely with copywriters to integrate text and visuals seamlessly in ad and email campaigns.
- Use motion effectively (in After Effects specifically) to create ads that utilize motion design elements and leverage footage. (Do you know expressions? We’ll use a lot of those.)
- Ensure quality assurance by reviewing creative deliverables before they are sent through internal review
- Work autonomously and be able to establish the creative direction for an account from kickoff through to delivery, whether the account is a smaller startup with less defined direction or a larger more enterprise client.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio showcasing ad and email design work.
- Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects and Photoshop specifically.)
- Advanced in Figma.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- The ability to handle multiple clients at one time and effectively communicate the individual brands across final deliverables.
- Prior experience in an agency is preferred.
