Business Development Lead

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, systems-minded, and proactive Business Development Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be a core partner to the CEO and CMO, helping to organize and elevate every aspect of the sales process. You’ll support proposal creation, manage pitch timelines, keep collateral up to date, and help implement smart, scalable tools—especially AI—to streamline our workflows.

Responsibilities

Sales Proposal & Audit Support:

  • Help assemble compelling, customized sales proposals and upsell decks for prospective and current clients
  • Coordinate across departments to collect audit materials and finalize pitch presentations
  • Track all active opportunities and deliverables in ClickUp and Hubspot, ensuring on-time completion

Collateral Management & Organization:

  • Maintain and improve our library of sales materials, decks, case studies, and internal resources
  • Keep shared folders and links organized and up to date for quick team access
  • Collaborate with the CMO to elevate design and messaging across all sales assets

Sales Ops & CRM Support:

    • Send timely follow-up emails and proposal recaps on behalf of the sales team
    • Manage AI tools to capture call notes and automatically update Hubspot CRM records
    • Identify and test new AI workflows to help us scale business development and sales ops

    Cross-functional Support:

    • Assist with meeting prep, notes, and scheduling for high-priority sales initiatives
    • Provide general support on other business development activities as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2+ years of experience in a sales support, marketing coordinator, project management, or similar role
    • 3+ years of experience across performance marketing: paid search and social, lifecycle marketing, and creative strategy
    • Familiarity with proposal creation, client communications, and CRM tools (Hubspot preferred)
    • Strong organizational skills—you love checklists, clean folders, and well-structured decks
    • Proficiency with tools like ClickUp, Google Workspace, Figma Slides, or similar platforms
    • Interest in AI tools and a proactive mindset about learning and implementing them
    • Excellent written communication and follow-up instincts
