Our Brand Behavior team is seeking a CD-Copywriter with strong conceptual thinking, a talent for storytelling, and extensive experience in bringing holistic brand ideas to life across a variety of channels. You’ll lead the development of provocative, impactful campaign ideas and foster them from concept through execution.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with an Art Director to lead brand campaigns and tactics - from ideation through production.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understand their vision and needs, and create breakthrough work that aligns with their goals.
- Establish and oversee the tone and copy for everything from manifestos, brand video scripts, radio, OOH, social posts, and 60-second spots and beyond.
- Work closely with strategists to ensure that creative ideas are insightful, thoughtful, and deliver real impact for our clients’ businesses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams, and external vendors.
- Mentor and oversee junior creative team members - especially copywriters.
Nuts and bolts:
- 10+ years of experience at creative or advertising agencies, working across both digital and traditional media.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful campaign work for a range of audiences, channels, and industries - including multiple examples of video and social tactics.
- You have experience across the following workstreams: event ideation, publishing/content, merchandising, deck creation, and 360 campaign work. Experiential experience is a plus.
- You’ve worked with brands in the luxury category and have some experience with heritage tech brands.
- Strategically-minded and able to brainstorm, develop, and execute everything from big campaign concepts to the tactics that support them.
- Highly conceptual thinker with the ability to inspire your team and clients alike.
- Extensive on-set and post-production experience.
- Presence in the room matters—you know how to show up and command a room and can sell ideas persuasively.
- A cultural voraciousness that keeps you on the pulse of emerging technology, art forms, and entertainment.
- Highly collaborative, organized, and kind, with a desire to think differently about what advertising can be.
- A good eye and a refined sense of aesthetic.
- Strong attention to detail and impeccable grammar.
